Born from experience, built with purpose, guided by experts.

EPIC IEP was born from a parent's firsthand experience navigating the IEP process. Our founder and advisory board bring together deep expertise in education, technology, and leadership to ensure every family and educator has the tools they deserve.

Our Founder

Tracy Curry

Tracy Curry is a seasoned HR and people-strategy executive with more than 20 years of experience building high-performance teams in IT and education. As Chief People Officer at a government contracting firm, she leads people-focused strategies that align with business growth for one of the nation's most mission-driven software development firms. What sets Tracy apart is her unique perspective—shaped equally by corporate meeting rooms and IEP meetings—that allows her to see the gaps others miss.

Tracy's journey to founding EPIC IEP is deeply personal. As a mother of a child with special needs, she experienced firsthand the complexity, frustration, and emotional toll of navigating the IEP process. Known for asking the thoughtful, incisive questions that get to the heart of a problem, Tracy brings a root-cause problem-solving orientation to everything she does. She doesn't settle for surface-level fixes—she digs deeper, asking why the system works the way it does and how it can truly serve the people inside it. That mindset, combined with her professional expertise in building scalable, people-centered solutions, is what drives EPIC IEP.

A Pinnacle Award finalist recognized for her strategic HR leadership, Tracy has held credentials including SPHR and CCP certifications and an Executive Education certificate from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and degrees from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and Morgan State University. Her career spans leadership roles at organizations including Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, TEKsystems, Ciena, AARP, and Kennedy Krieger Institute.

"I didn't start EPIC IEP because I like software or because I thought it would be easy. I started it because I got tired — tired of being unsure how to advocate for my son, tired of seeing good teachers struggle with tools, tired of watching schools with good intentions fall short. So I stopped being tired and started building with my favorite quote driving me: It always seems impossible until it's done."

Camille Cranson is a veteran special education administrator and educator with over 17 years of experience serving students with disabilities in public and private school settings. A graduate of Spelman College with a master's degree in Special Education from Goucher College, Camille holds endorsements in Special Education, Reading, English/Language Arts, and Administration. She has testified before Congress on the critical need for adequate funding under IDEA and Title I for students in underserved communities.
